The best of the best are selected as All-American All-Stars at our camps throughout the summer, and are invited to spend the weekend with us in Baton Rouge September 6-7, 2025, learning new routines, growing their skills, meeting new friends, and having fun doing it! 

The All-Star weekend includes exposure to new styles of choreography, with master classes in jazz, lyrical, contemporary, high kick, and hip hop.  Workshops include leaps, turns, and tricks, and choreography for both solo and duet dancers.

FAQs:

  • Visit the EVENTS section to complete the online registration and forms.

  • Mail the deposit to P.O. Box 2096, Mandeville, LA 70470.
    The name of the dancer must be listed on the
    payment.

  • The cleared check will serve as confirmation of deposit. All deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE.

  • Weekend details will be emailed to the dancers and parents in August.

  • Check-in will be at 9 am Saturday, September 6, 2025

  • Dancers stay 4 to a room and can request roommates on the registration form. Dancers attending with less than 4 members from their school will be paired with dancers from another school.

  • Dancers will not room with their parents. Parents are not allowed to interact with the dancers throughout the weekend. All events are closed.

Featured instructors in 2024 are:

Ashley Deaton is from the greater New Orleans area. She is an experienced dancer, choreographer,  coach, director, and music  editor who has spent the past  19 years working in the professional sports entertainment industry. As a college dancer, she was an original member of the LSU Tiger Girls, winning a national championship with the team in 1999.
Her experience and highly sought after skills led her to the New Orleans Hornets in 2002 as a dancer, choreographer
and coach of the Honeybees. Her success led her to the  role of Senior Director of Entertainment Teams for the New Orleans Saints and Pelicans, directing and working with over 100 entertainers on the NBA stage and NFL field. Ashley specializes in visual stylized hip hop, street jazz, and funky pom. She is currently the owner and founder of “Soul Werk”; a health and wellness lifestyle brand that merges her love for dance with personal health and life coaching.

Destiny Rooney grew up in Metairie, LA, and was a member of the Mount Carmel Academy Carmelettes for 4 years, serving as Head Captain in 2018. After High School, she studied at Louisiana State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing with a concentration in Professional Sales. While studying at LSU, Destiny was a 4-year member of the LSU Golden Girls, serving as captain in 2021. While dancing for the Tigers, she performed at the SEC National Championship game in 2020 during the historic LSU season. Destiny currently still resides in Baton Rouge as a local Realtor, barre instructor at Neighborhood Barre, and a Senior Performance Staff member and Social Media Specialist at American All-Star. She specializes in audition prep and choreography, and loves helping local dancers in her free time!

Londyn Atkinson was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She currently attends LSU where she will be graduating in December with a degree in Business Management and a minor in Communication Studies. She was a member of The LSU Golden Girls for the past four years and served as a technique leader her senior year. She is currently a member of our staff and has been for the last five years. She has choreographed for many dance teams and also musical theater productions such as Newsies, Tarzan, and Beauty and the Beast.
